For individuals without diabetes, expert consensus states ‘normal’ or typical glucose levels are:
- Fasting: 70-99 mg/dl
- After a meal: up to 140 mg/dl
Studies in healthy individuals using CGM reported glucose levels on average were 100 mg/dl, and following meals reported a median value of 140 mg/dl with levels up to 180 mg/dl.
